In a reversal, Barack Obama is proposing tapping the United States' strategic oil reserves to help drive down gasoline prices, his campaign said Monday.
Is this a surprise that anyone who has really listened to Obama, that he cares that people are suffering and wants to do something about it? If anyone has listened he has said that, he may change his mind after listening to other opinions, but at least he will tell us what he wants to do, unlike our present and other politicians who are running for office. Is there any other guy who was honest enough to tell us what we were spending per week for war in Iraq? any other guy who was honest and caring enough to tell us how predetory lenders were pulling us down? Any other guy who told us how health care costs were sending people into bankruptcy????
It happened to me and I have been a republican all my life. Listen to what he really says. Don't you think this nation is ready for it's young people, poor people, and downtrodden to speak out??? How about the average middle class??? Losing, homes, jobs etc... Barack is the only one listening. Get a clue!!!— Bev B
What everyone seems to be avoiding, including the automobile mfgs is that the energy cost for electricity is even higher than the gas. A hybrid make it a double whammy on a buyer/consumer./ I have a friend that bought a hybrid, after he received his second electric bill, he went to gas only!
